Came in to the office today and my staff were all in a state of semi-frenzy.
One of the girls was at home last nite when robbers managed to get in and robbed the family. The girl had sent those in the office a message on MSN to call the police. She kept logging in and out and the people in the office were rather worried. One guy managed to get her address from her and they trouped down late last night to see her and her family in Jalan Ipoh.
Lots of things were taken. They didn't see the car so they're suspecting maybe that was taken as well.
Her and her family are in a state of shock. I can't imagine what the trauma of such an experience must be like.
I really need to remind myself to be more careful and not to take things for granted in a city where such things are a commonplace occurrence.
Everyone who's in Malaysia .... be careful yah.
Make sure you have a way of letting others know if something happens to you and they know where you live in case they have to call the police on your behalf.
